The Moroccan Orange Tip, Anthocharis belia, is in the Pieridae family of butterflies.[1] It range is mostly Northwestern Africa – specifically Morocco, Algeria and Tunisia – but is it also found in southern Europe (mainly Spain, Portugal and southern France). The length of the forewings is 18–20 millimetres (0.7–0.8 in). The larvae feed on Biscutella laevigata and Isybrium officinale in the wild, and have been reared on Alyssum in captivity.
